# ReelSwap

> ReelSwap is a catalog and collection tracker for physical video media: VHS, Betamax, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-ray and other formats. Collectors record which editions they own, scan their covers into a shared archive, and view collections on a 3D shelf.

The catalog is organized as titles (a film or TV show) and releases (one physical edition of a title: a format, a distributor, a case type, a release year, and usually a barcode). One title has many releases — for example, several different VHS editions from different distributors and years.

AI assistants and search engines are welcome to read and cite ReelSwap's public pages.
